Cycle Auction 17 July 2021 at Cheriton. Part of the Cycle Jumble

There will be an auction at around 11am. I have around 20 bikes to sell from many eras and genres! More welcome.

The basics are:
  • Deliver your bike between 8-9am
  • Sellers pay £2 lotting fee. That will get you into the jumble as well.
Plus 10% commission on the hammer price
  • Buyers pay 15% commission
  • Pay and clear on the day. Bank transfers sometimes work determined by signal and bank delays. Cash is best.
All bikes are from people I know and trust.
Here are some of the bikes expected:
Raleigh Mirage
Specialized Secteur Carbon fully serviced
Specialized Roubaix Alloy fully serviced
Raleigh Ventura 531 with Shimano Golden Arrow
Peugeot Premierelle Ladies
Raleigh Banana
Diamondback Crestview fully serviced
Trax MTB fully serviced
Raleigh Gran Sport
1930s BSA Ladies
1940s BSA Factory Bike
1950s Raleigh Roadster
Specialized Ladies MTB
Kraken MTB

Plus MTBs

I will use a comment for each bike with photos and details when I have them.

The bomb motif on the rear mudguard may indicate what type of factory
The front rack is attached to the frame i.e. when you turn it stays straight ahead.
Lovely deep mudguards. Perhaps the floors were deliberately kept damp.
Its in good mechanical order, the chrome needs some TLC.

  6. Cool retro racer. 1980s Peugeot Etoile. 21″ frame. New Continental tyres fitted. Front brake cable broken and needs handlebar tape, otherwise in good working order. Would benefit from a bit of love and attention – loads of potential for a renovation project.
